2What we collect
When you place an order: your name, billing address, email address and phone number; the recipient’s name, delivery address and phone number; your delivery or collection date and time, colour preferences and any card message; and your order history. Payment card details are entered on our payment provider’s secure page and are not stored by us.
When you contact us: your name, email address, phone number and whatever you tell us in your message.
If you create an account: your login details and saved addresses.
When you visit the website: our hosting provider keeps standard technical records, such as your IP address and browser type, to run and protect the site.
3How and why we use it
To take, prepare, deliver and support your order, including sending order confirmations and a photo of your bouquet. This is necessary to fulfil our contract with you.
To deliver to someone else: we use the recipient’s details only to deliver their flowers and contact them about the delivery. This is in our legitimate interests and yours.
To answer your enquiries and arrange bespoke work. This is in our legitimate interests, or necessary to take steps before entering a contract with you.
To keep financial records, as required by law.
To send you emails about seasonal flowers and offers, only if you have ticked the box to agree at checkout. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us. This is based on your consent.
To keep the website secure and working properly. This is in our legitimate interests.
5How long we keep it
Order and payment records: six years, as required for tax and accounting.
Enquiries: up to two years, unless they lead to an order.
Marketing permission: until you unsubscribe. We keep a record that you unsubscribed so we do not contact you again.
Accounts: until you ask us to delete your account.
6Cookies
This website only uses cookies that are needed for it to work: to remember the contents of your basket, keep you logged in to your account and keep the checkout secure. These do not need your consent and are not used to track you.
If we add any other cookies in the future, such as for analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
7Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or transfer it to you or another organisation. You can object to us using your information based on legitimate interests, and withdraw your consent to marketing emails at any time.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
